Our Mission

Endless was born in the slums of Rio, the villages of India, and the alleys of Indonesia, from witnessing lives full of hunger and talent, but starved of opportunity.

We were shaped by the great irony of our time:

The people who need learning the most are often those with the least access to it.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Many top tech founders started by getting hooked on games, teaching themselves to code, and changing their lives. But that can’t happen if a child has no computer and no opportunity to get curious and find a way in.

That’s the real unlock: once a student has access to the right tools, everything else, from the software, to the knowledge, the mentors, and the community, can follow. But they need a spark. A hook. A network to pull them forward. And networks are magical. They don’t just scale. They get stronger and cheaper the more people join. That’s the world we’re building toward. A future where everyone, everywhere, can learn everything, for free. Endless exists to make that future real.

Our three teams of Endless Studios, Endless Foundation and Endless Investments form the infrastructure of that world.

But Endless is more than a toolkit. It’s a movement. A growing, global community working to empower a generation with the skills to shape their world, contribute meaningfully, and thrive in the digital economy. Endless succeeds when the whole world is empowered to build the future.

“Better learning will not come from finding better ways for the teacher to instruct, but from giving the learner better opportunities to construct.”

Seymour Papert

What we’ve built

We started as builders, focused on unlocking laptop access in emerging markets with Endless OS. That foundation as inventors shaped everything that followed. From the beginning, our mission has been to empower everyone, everywhere with the tools to thrive. We soon realized we also also needed to teach the skills to succeed once people had the tools. What followed is a suite of solutions designed to scaffold every step of that journey: from access, to learning, to creation.

Learning Tools
Game making community

Our game-making isn’t just about curriculum. It’s about community. Creators remix each other’s games, tackle challenges side by side, and grow through shared creativity. It’s network effects applied to learning, where every new creator makes the whole community smarter, stronger, and more inspired.

Godot tooling

Godot is a free game engine that can run on nearly any computer. It's easier than Unity, but still complex for beginners. So we built scaffolds: a block-coding plugin to lower the coding barrier, first-time game templates and collaborative tools and games that level up first-time creators to confident contributors.

Endstar

Professional game engines like Unity are powerful but intimidating. We realized we had to build a tool that sits on top of Unity to meet learners where they are. From an intuitive game creation tool that anyone can use, it creates a pathway that gradually eases young creators into real game development tools without hitting a wall.

Access Infrastructure
Endless OS

Endless OS is where it all began. Built to be as easy to use as a smartphone, it's a safe, reliable operating system designed for learners. It comes loaded with coding tools, creative apps, and educational resources. It’s the best OS for kids, no internet required.

Laptop program

Laptops are the most powerful educational tool in history. But for many families, the cost puts them out of reach. We’ve pioneered pay-as-you-go financing to make laptops affordable, unlocking access at scale for hundreds of millions of learners.

Offline internet

Half the world still lacks reliable internet. So instead of waiting for connectivity, we bring the content. Our offline internet solutions use local storage and smart software to deliver what matters most, even when bandwidth is unavailable.

An Endless Movement

We began as builders, creating tools to expand access to technology and opportunity. From operating systems to game engines, we built what didn’t exist, so that every young person could learn, create, and thrive.

But we came to understand that...

Solving a challenge this big takes more than any one organization can do. It takes building together.

Endless is not just an organization. It’s a movement. A growing ecosystem of foundations, studios, educators, and entrepreneurs, all aligned around one mission: to empower youth everywhere with the skills to shape their future.

That’s why we’ve evolved. Today, we still build, but we also fund, invest, and collaborate. We support other organizations that share our vision. We invest in companies working at the intersection of games and learning. We give to foundations breaking down barriers to access and skill development. The less we do, the more we can do. Because the more we lean on each other, the greater the impact we can achieve together.

When we all swarm around a common mission, we stop working in silos, and start building something truly Endless.

Our Leadership Team

We’re a global team of educators, game makers, engineers, designers and open-source advocates. We come from different backgrounds, but we share one thing in common: we care deeply. Each of us has given our all to build a world we’d be proud to live in.

Our vision: The whole world, empowered.

We believe youth should shape technology, not be shaped by it. We imagine a world where every child is a creator. A world where kids are pulled not just into playing games, but into building them — and in the process, become coders, designers, storytellers, and changemakers.

What would the world look like if every teen grew up with the tools to challenge the injustices of the modern world? What if the next generation could not just use technology, but use it to rebuild what’s broken?

If we succeed, we’ll see the answer in the world around us.
